Nizoral as a body wash

A few times I have used Nizoral 1% as a everything body wash, on my head, face, and body . Yes I know that could be more expensive than a shower gel but a little seems to go further than normal shower gels and it leaves my skin feeling nice.


Hypothetically what effects would Nizoral have as a body wash? Shouldn't it slow body hair (opposite effect it has on scalp hair) or does it make body hair grow more?

Any other effects or things I should know would be appreciated.

Nizoral is like minoxidil. The androgen receptor blocking is mild in comparison. It would make your body hair grow a bit more. Nizoral also can go systemic. It does not go systemic a lot, but if you exposed your entire body, and you have a weak liver or are already prone to gyno, the nizoral could put you over the edge. But if you can handle finasteride just fine, most likely nizoral body wash would not be a huge issue. Just don't put it on your penis.
