As the user above stated, its unlikely. The irritation and inflammation are just a biproduct. They can definitely make it worse, but controlling just that will not likely resolve the whole problem.gerard said:If I decided to go with Nizoral / anti-DHT shampoo but not with Rogaine nor Propecia. Shall I see improvement from MPH ?
There is no such thing as an anti-DHT shampoo unfortunately. The only one that comes close is Nano shampoo from Dr. Proctor, and it costs a pretty penny with no guarantee that it works. Shampoo's are typically considered insufficient for treating hair loss as they do not stay on the scalp long enough to do much good.gerard said:second question is, which is the best brand of anti-dht shampoo out there and do i need a prescription for that ? thx
gerard said:no matter what, no propecia or proscar
natural product first, if all fails, then i will reconsider it

Bruce, sorry to tell you... i may need a hat, but you may need a coffin earlier.
KRAMER said:If there were "natural" products that worked they would be all over the media. Truth is, only propecia and minoxidil have been proven to prevent/treat hair loss. There are lots of natural products out there they may help with your hair loss treatment but they should be used with the two that are proven to work.
