yep. To confirm this i stopped nizoral for a couple of months. When i started it again i had a huge shed, i thought it was from switching from generic dutasteride to geniune dutasteride but it wasnt, it was the nizoral

Bollocks!!!

I just started using nizoral 2%

I can't afford another shed!!!

How could it cause a shed? I thought it just improved scalp health?

Remember this. If you are having a shower and you notice quite a bit of hair afterwards it does not mean it has all come from your head. Your body will shed loads of hair as well. Especialy the chest area and maybe around your knackers.

I have been using Nizoral for about a year and DEFINATELY notice more hairs shedding when I use it. When I use normal shampoo (everyday) I don't notice many shed hairs, when I use Nizoral I do notice a lot.

I used to use Nizoral once every 3 days or so, but have recently dropped back to about once every 10 days. Itch is less, flakes are up a little but I think my scalp is healthier for it.

Don't overdo it.

I've been using Nizoral 1% for the past 3 months and haven't noticed shedding. If you shed, maybe you could try 1% instead of 2%? I wasn't aware that Nizoral caused shedding and haven't heard of it before.
