No hair gel for style while on finasteride

Ive been on finasteride for a month now and notice that water does the trick now before i go out. I simply splash a little water in my hair, spike it up, and it stays like that all nite, where as before finasteride, my hair would dry and not look styled. Anyone else notice this? Im assuming the finasteride is causing my hair to be greesier or whatever its doing...lol

Anyways, just thought id bring that up, :freaked2:

I almost said you were imagining things, right up until your last sentence. Absolutely. Finasteride increases testosterone during the first 30 days, and people do report excessively oily skin on the "T" section of their face and some facial hair bearing areas like eyelashes, and eyebrows. Very possible its in your hair a bit too. This will be short lived. Within another month or so you may go bone dry. After a few months all will level out again.
