This just makes me realize more that when you have nothing to "compensate" for genetic diseases like hairloss you are going to have a very hard time, especially in the dating market. Balding mixed with other (serious) imperfections is just social and therefore mental torture and you are pretty much done for it.

If you think that is the worst it can get think again because besides those listed above you can also have other problems like social anxiety. When that is the case don't expect too much of life anymore.

When life throws sh*t at you that you can't handle as a child and decides that it is not enough and throws at you this hairloss curse while you are a teenager just to afterwards keep trowing sh*t like a f*cking monkey and never lets you experience the good things in life, you are going to wish you were never born.

Maybe everyone here is looking at it wrong. Perhaps he actually just found a decent chic who looks past his deformity. Maybe there is another ulterior motive but I HIGHLY doubt his hair was what "got her". Theres def more to the story than that. Im sure she would date a bald dude

The way I see it: this girl is playing the "Look, I'm not shallow!" card. Nothing more.

Don't underestimate what some women would be ready to do just for attention.

I doubt it I just read they have been dating quite a while and recently bought a house together. Dude got lucky, let him have it and be happy for him I say.

As has been said, baldness is the last bastion of political incorrectness. If anyone ever dared to say anything humiliating about his condition either to him or about him, it'd be met with great scorn. Baldness humiliation is encouraged.

Some things women look can look past - medical conditions, scars - in some ways they find it caring to overlook such traits if they fall for a guy and might even find it attractive. Baldness is distinct from this though, probably because it steals a lot of your identity rather than add to it.
