It's been awhile since i came here but the hair made me do it :)

You will see how my hair looks after 1 year from the last pictures if not more..

I have stopped using Propecia like 1 year or more i remember that i was just using it for 3-4 months because i experienced some side effects i was scared and i stop taking Propecia.

As you can see on the pictures in the post I'm experiencing quite a loss in the frontal area but I'm not sure if I'm losing hair only in the frontal area because from what i can count i see around 80-120 hairs per day and maybe even more in the bathroom when taking a shower don't want to even talk about it :(

A friend of mine from this forum recommended me that i should start on Rogaine + Tricomin + Nizoral to see some results i would like to hear what other people have to say about that since i don't want to take any pills because i don't want to risk on the side effects anymore.

I hope you guys can tell me what should i do the only reason i stopped taking care of my hair because i got scared with Propecia i wasted a lot of money for something that didn't worked out for me.. I don't got problem to use something all of the time at night or in the morning just want to keep and regrowth the hair like every other person on this forum

Re: 19 years old losing hair!

It has nothing to do with junk food, its genetic.

Consult with a derm to see if you can get on Propecia (you are kind of young).

Re: 19 years old losing hair!

Thanks for your reply.

I'm turning 20 in 2 months and i know i'm kind a young but my hair doesn't look that way.

I live in Macedonia and in our country there isn't much of this derm guys even if they are the problem is that they will write me a prescription for a Shampoo which will not help.

So i'm asking if there is any other alternative if i should propecia ? Or if i take it if there is going to be some problems and Where can i actually buy this online and how much i should take.

Thank you for your answer again.

You can purchase the generic version online, its cheaper and it doesn't need any Rx.

Re: 19 years old losing hair!

Should i only stick to Propecia ?

Or should i buy Rogaine and Nizoral also ?

And because i'm going to buy for sure i want to ask you how many should i buy for starters... I read somewhere that if i don't see changes in 3 months i should discontinue using of the drug is that true ?

Can you please answer me to these questions thanks.

Re: 19 years old losing hair!

You may get sufficient benefit from Propecia alone not to bother with anything else. It's pretty much all I use these days, and I'm very happy with it. That said, adding Nizoral twice a week is cheap and easy. The real commitment comes with Rogaine - you have to use it twice a day, every day. Too much hassle as far as I'm concerned.

You have to give any treatment at least six months. In fact, you should give Propecia at least a year before evaluating it. Remember, maintenance of what you have is considered success. Don't expect major regrowth from any meds.

Ok i understand i was just asking to see my possibilities to react faster and beter. I just wanted to ask if there is going to be any problem if i take Propecia daily and if i use Nizoral twice a week ?

About the Rogaine the hassle is not a problem as long as the medicine had better progres than Propecia from what i saw in the success stories a i saw bigger number used just Propecia and nothing else.

Can you point me to some webpage that does ship international because all of the sites i seem to find are only shipping within the USA.

Thanks once again.

Re: 19 years old losing hair!

I have ordered 5 packs of Propecia ! :) I hope i will be one of those success stories :)

I just wanted to ask you something is it safe for me to use Propecia are those sexual side effects the only ones ?

Because i didn't visit a derm for it and i'm healthy and not alergic to anything.

I just wanted to know if it's safe to use even if i didn't talked with a derm.

Thanks.

I have been 3 months and 1 week on Propecia and i got 2 more packs from Propecia left.

I have seen a lot of posts from the people about Finpecia ?

What's the difference between Finpecia and Propecia ?

Does it works to take the risk?

Finpecia is made in India. Even though it contains the exact same chemical as Propecia (1mg of finasteride), its cost is significantly less than that of Propecia.

Cipla is allowed by Indian patent law to make drugs that are patented by other companies internationally as the law protects only the processes by which drugs are made, and not the drugs themselves.

Under current Indian law, which recognizes patents on ways to make drugs but not the drugs themselves.

This means Indian companies can make drugs under patent in the West, provided they use a process that is different from the original.

Manufacturers are able to produce and sell medicines here at a tiny fraction of the prices charged in the United States. In some cases, though, the generic makers have been blocked from selling their wares in other developing countries that have Western-style patent laws

This is what i found on UnitedPharmacies from where i buy my pills from seems to good to be true since from Propecia and Finpecia the difference in price is big but not that big.

Any suggestions on what should my next order be ?

You are paying waaaay to much for Propecia.
Here: http://www.unitedpharmacies.com/customer/product.php?productid=188&cat=3&page=1
It's from the same site but much cheaper!
Its 5mg finasteride unlike Propecia which has 1mg....so you have to split it in 5 pieces.
Because it's generic it costs less then Propecia, and you make it even more cheaper by cutting it on 5 peaces.
So whit 30 pills you have enough for 5 months!

By the way check out the Revivogen...there is much talk on how it actually gives more significant results then Finasteride.

Good luck!
