As long as there is still hair left there is a chance to save some of it. Talk to your doctor about taking Finasteride. When did you start noticing hairloss?

If you start Finasteride now, you have a good chance of maintaining the hair you currently have and slowing down the loss.
You might be able to recover some hair that’s been recently lost if you are a good responder to the drug and since you are still young. There are no guarantees though.

Also, if you decide to take Finasteride, consider waiting at least 6 months or so before adding minoxidil. You will want to know how your body and hair react to Finasteride first.

Lol I'm assuming he's been on OM monotherapy, has great results, and is considering adding finasteride. But hard to decipher lol
He shows picture of his hairline and crown when he used topical minoxidill last year. But first post he shows his hair all fucked up and asks for help.

How long do you use it?
i think close to a year now... first 3 month was 5mg daily, after that 10...
also dutasteride daily...
but no idea, it seems to work somehow, but not enough, crown only got worse during 4 years of treatments, hairline a bit better, but all it grows seems to be 1cm hair...

Why wait 6 months, this would just allow more hair to fall out trying to finger out what to do.
You should at least do both and after results start showing (if they do) them back off on one of them if you desire.
If you search its recommended by Dermatologist and even suggested searching on line to take 1 milligram Finasteride daily and use 5% Rogain/Minoxidil foam two times a day which has been approved for the best results with hair loss.
The Minoxidil pills are really not recommended going directly in your blood stream.
All my Drs said if I was to go with the pills (not recommended) I would need to have more blood work done that what I have to do now.

Also Biatin 5,000 mg I take 2 daily and throw in Collagen for men recommended 6 tabs a day I take 4 a day.
Recently I've stopped the Finasteride because the reactions stated are true with life actions in the bed room with my hair slowly filling back in after 8 months.
Which I feel my sudden hair loss was cause by taking way to much L-Arginine for the same reason for better life in the bedroom.
