Attached pics. Taken on different days, some right after a buzz and others not so, so don't let the hair size confuse you.

The top seems completely gone but it looks like you still have follicles on the sides. You probably wouldn’t get much with a hair transplant. If I was in your situation, I would build some temple points with a hair transplant, grow all the hair out with minoxidil, finasteride and then get a system for the top. A lot of people hate the idea of hair systems but they don’t look terrible if a person does the color, density and style right. If you do get a transplant I would start taking both medications about six months before hand.

Sorry, but those pics don't do anything to show how much donor area you have. You probably won't be able to get total coverage, but you might get a hairline and some filling in towards the crown.

Yes, you can definitely go for hair transplant using the latest techniques of FUE or FUT. In FUE or the Stitch less Follicular Unit Extraction procedure, individual grafts from the scalp are extracted using a small round punch device of 0.75 to 1.3mm size. The best part of using FUE is that it is faster, can harvest complex grafts, and has a low follicle transection rate. Moreover, the technique enables the surgeon to take grafts from the beard and other areas of the body as well.

The other technique known as Follicular Unit Transplant or FUT takes a strip of the hair bearing scalp, cuts into thin slivers, divides into individual follicular units, and transplants to the recipient area. To access these services under the experienced hands of a cosmetic surgeon. The procedure shall be conducted under the watchful eyes of Dr. Satya Saraswat, a Gold Medallist Plastic, Cosmetic, Laser and Reconstructive Surgeon and his equally talented team at the Saraswat Hospital, Agra, India.

Do your research to get exactly what you want. Hopefully find a solution that will last long term. That way it’s less likely that you will be sold BS.

Hello,
As a dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon, I wanted to suggest that in your case you can go for a transplant, but not with complete coverage. your scalp looks complete shiny.
In the pic which you have shared your doner picture is not clear but it looks like you have thick hairs.
Don't be disappointed or distorted, you can make your donor area strong and then you can go for crown area H.T.
For making your donor area strong, you can go for topical application and oral medications, with treatments like PRP, and laser treatments.

For more queris let me know, can help you out.

You might be able to get total coverage using a scalp/bodyhair combo.
Your best bet is to go see this specialist. Dr. Umar: https://www.dermhairclinic.com/before-and-after-gallery/Norwood-6-7-before-and-after/
