I read this at a site I'm not allowed to type in this forum. The site is a uk site and quite respectable. In fact most of you uk guys get your foam from here:

'Foam is not intended for frontal baldness or receding hairline. '

but some of you guys say you use it for a receding hairline. I'm confused, could someone clear this up for me.

officially no. In reality it works all over your head. But gives the best results in the crown. Apparently.

Funny enough I bought four months worth of foam today and noticed the same disclaimer. Its simply because it was not tested in this area.

Just google (UK site) 'Rogaine Foam' and it will being up the 'direct' supplier.

He was referring to you. So are we all in agreement that rogaine foam doesn't work for a receding hairline?

for me, it kicks *** on the temples and hairline.

My hairline used to be a place of terror in the mirror. Now, since being on minoxidil for three years, I've completely filled in on the front.

Honestly, it's my crown that's weaker.

But going from 1x daily minoxidil (and skipping days, sometimes weeks) to 2x daily foam (and never skipping) should kick that into overdrive.

I'm on track to have perfect hair in about six months. Been a long time.

let me put it this way.

Before I started my regimen, my hairline and temples were HORRIBLE, scary places.

There was this one lone hair at the edge of my hairline, the last vestige of a forest long since chopped down.

Well, since starting minoxidil, that hair is still there, a centimeter out beyond the front line, black, strong, and growing. And the line behind it is filled in and stout.

So, yeah, it works everwhere.

Its very hard to get back temples.

True, but the primary goal for a hair loss treatment should be maintenance. Regrowth is a bonus plus: Most people have at least their current hairline thickened with the foam!

yeah flimflam i was asking why you dont use it
I do now. I didn't before because I didn't want to be dependant on that twice a day application. But having used the foam for a few weeks now, I find it's really no bother at all.
