Not having any success 9 months in :(

I've been on lipogaine for 9 months, but i've only been using it once a day, I read all the studies talking about once a day treatment of minoxidil is just as good as two and i read about the ingredients in lipogaine and thought maybe I can get away with using this once because of all the dht inhibiting ingredients and whatnot.

Well, 9 months in i've seen no gains, if anything, hair is worse off than before. I want to stop taking it but I read all the horror stories about minoxidil when you stop using it.

My regmen looks like,

Lipogaine 1x every night
regenepure ketoconazole shampoo 3x a week
purador every day i'm not using regenepure
topical s5 on hairline (not been consistently using it though)

I expected to at least see my hair thicken if it wasnt going to regrow but it looks much worse off now than before. I'm a diffuse thinner, sucks -- and I do not want to start propecia at all!

The hairloss happened so suddenly! I had a thick head of hair then few months later boom.

I'm actually looking into FUE transplants,

I want to try finasteride, but I dont want to mess with all my hormones and potentially have ED.

Well i plan on getting a 2nd hair transplant years down the road if I need it.

I dont know about finasteride, i know it is a relatively small percentage of people that suffer the ED issues, but recently, maybe due to stress, i've been having libido issues as well.

And the brain-fog and all the hormonal issues finasteride brings along with it, i think i'm going to just dish out the money for FUE, after all, I found a really good surgeon in India who does it for VERY cheap and he is an IIHRS surgeon I believe.

finasteride would do you good. I would like to take finasteride too, but not available where I am. :sad:
