Not sure if this is an early sign of hair loss

Hello, this is my first post on here. I'm a 17 year old asian-white male with what looks like thinning on my crown. I'm not sure if I'm in an early stage of balding or if another reason is behind it, but I wanted to get some feedback. I'm currently on ketoconazole shampoo my family doctor prescribed to me.

My dad is almost 50 with only a small amount of hair recession, and I'm not sure about my mother's father.

Asians always have a more visible whorl on their crown
and your family history is enviable
and u are 17

do not worry just keep using the shampoo 1-2 times a week.
