It was kind of a sad realization that I came across tonight. I dated a girl with a baby for almost a year. between the 6 month - 1.5 year stage. She would ALWAYS comment on the babies hair, how it looked thicker two days after a shampoo, etc.. and then always comb her hair with that comb over look, so it looked fuller.

I notice the same thing with most of my friends on facebook. Having been a combover artist myself for a few years, I realize EVERY ONE tries so hard to make their BABY look like they have a full head of hair.

Let me repeat that... THEIR f*****g BABY!

and, yet... we as 20-30 year old, single adults, engulfed deeply in society and parietal pressure and trying to find a mate are simply supposed to GET OVER IT.... WHILE YOU SPEND HOURS COMBING OVER YOUR BABY'S HAIR!!!

You need to comb your hair.

Think you should do a combover style like Donald Trump. You're obviously a big fan, and let's face it, it would be YOU.

Good observations, buckthorn. It would not have occurred to me.

Next time see a baby with a blatant combover I will call them out.
I will give the momma some, too.

It's weird how babies grow hair in the Norwood pattern.

They kinda 'bald in reverse' don't they? Starting from almost bald they gradually develop a normal hairline.
Could be a potential clue about the process of male pattern baldness - I mean, having the same pattern just going in the opposite direction is definitely not a coincidence.

I love combing over my sons hair. I love to wash it, style it or do whatever. To you Norwood spotters he'd be a diffuse 3v or so. He doesn't seem to care, the world is so interesting to him regardless I think we can all learn something. He'll eventually become a "fullhead", and I see him as inspiration for hair growth as I can see how long it takes to complete the process. Please don't let hairloss strip you from creating life, I see a lot of you dudes on this forum with whom I'd trade careers for just to be able to fully support my kids and give them what they truly deserve. I'd give all my hair to know that for the next 18 years I could provide them 3 warm meals a day with a nice backyard, swingset, education, etc. doesn't matter.

This is very sweet.
Problem is lots of people here have not yet found a partner who liked them at all despite the bald head, imagine giving them a child...

Yeah, they should have an abortion. Save the kid pain!

Yeah, our hair doesn't mature until around 7 years old. Most of us enter this world with Norwood 7, and then we exit
out with that to. Funny, isn't it?

So we're not getting older, we're getting younger?

I'm curious how the balding numbers compare for people who born with a lot of hair, vs people who were born without.
