Nut ache on Avodart after years of use?

Hi, long time lurker and had an account on HLH back in the day (I was 'Quartz'). I've been on dutasteride (branded Avodart and generic) for around two years, before that finasteride for about 12 years. In the last few weeks I've begun to get ache in left testicle, most pronounced with an erection and just before ejaculation. I'm not experiencing any ache outside of this situation.

Is this likely the dutasteride - even after all this time? I've heard of initial ache in the first few weeks/months and do recall that when I started finasteride..but then it subsided.

Any advice appreciated.

What about trying to use the drug less and see? You take this daily? Try twice or every other day.

Bizarrely, I only started to feel the ache once I reduced to EOD. I will see if every two days makes any difference. Thanks for advice.

Just got to a doctor and get it checked if it persists. This could be anything from epididymal hypertension to cancer. Doesn't seem connected to Avodart IMO. But I am not a doctor and don't pretend to be one.

The odd thing is how it's only at erection and/or ejactulation. No regular 'dull ache' through the day.
