Anyone that knows anything about this product called Nuvo? They claim in this video that it stops hair-loss for 100% and gives some regrowth for 67% of the participants in a trial.

Snake-oil or worth trying?

With a claim like that it sounds like 100% hoax. I would still like to examine the maker's alleged clinical double blinds for curiosity's sake. I could not find ingredients either.

"Of note, our latest formulas have been shown to block micro-inflammation of the hair follicle as well as inhibit the negative consequences of 5 alpha dihydrotestosterone -- a pathogenic metabolite of the steroid hormone testosterone (T). This means that NUVO® helps revitalize your hair in more than one way. While consistently excellent clinical results are now evident, because NUVO® is run by hair loss experts, not marketers, you can expect that as time passes, the results you achieve will continue to get even better."

The study with which they claim regrowth:

The study sounds ok however obviously no where close to as the confident assertions (again 100% complete hair loss cessation) the product maker advertises. I've yet to read the complete publication in it's entirety and it certainly contains fascinating discussion material. however I get a generally different interpretation that seems to more favorably support/acknowledge combining ant-inflammatory compound(s) with preexisting 5ar inhibitors rather than using compound as a stand alone method for Androgenetic Alopecia treatment. Thanx for sharing.

I've just bought a 1month supply of these tablets and serum (£50, wasn't cheap). Undoubtedly snake oil but I'm willing to try anything that mentions anti-inflammatory. Those claims about stopping hairloss 100% are obviously ridiculous. It also claims to be the only natural hairloss treatment backed by clinical studies and trials. Will let you know if it does anything.

I'll cover your three months worth of supplies (NUVO)on accrued expenses (100%) if it restores your hair by no less than 33% improvement. Got that Dench. Now just a friendly fact to think about while waiting for your shipment to arrive; I can spot a pro photo shop a stones throw away. -) Here's to hoping I get to settle up with you by the fall.
