Yeah, most likely.
For example, my father was a NW0 Chad with thick hair at 60 years old, but my maternal grandfather was NW7. Now I'm balding and have thin hair instead of being a thick NW0 like my father. I'm already NW3 heading to NW4 at 28 years old.

My father started balding at 40 while being an absolute NW1 Chad at 30 years old (when he got married).
His father had white NW0 at almost 70 when he died.
Ofc I have to inherit my maternal grandfather's hair who had the typical NW7 horseshoe since I was a kid.
Why couldn't I just inherit my paternal grandfather's PERFECT HAIR GENES. f*****g WHY ???????????????!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, my cousin from my father's side (who has a bald grandfather + bald uncle from his mother's side of the family) has recedeed NW1 at 26. I was diffused horribly NW6 at 26.
