Well it seems his eight transplants did not work out very well, but I don't think at all he would look better shaved as the article suggests.
It is funny that the author shaved his hair himself and, like everyone who shaves hair, he thinks everyone should... boring

What a terrible article. Totally unsympathetic to Joe Buck, as if Joe's suffering is somehow lesser than the author's own. Note how the author uses the term "hair plugs" to discuss all hair transplant in a negative and pejorative manner.

Wow, dude had no less than eight procedures.

He clearly took this genetic cheapshot hard.

And yet, despite all that work, he still looks his age (47) or even a bit older, imo...

The fact that Joe Buck's hair situation is topic for an article in the NY Times is indicative of the type of trash society we unfortunately live in.

"So Buck found time between some football and baseball seasons to get hair plugs.
Some people vacation. Others get their hair harvested."

Quality journalism right there, folks.

We are very far from being accepted as more than a joke by the majority of society. When I see articles like this, written by bald men themselves, I think how the hell do we expect others to be accepting or have a little sympathy for us when our own kind are throwing us under the bus.

Haha we're some real hard cases, some of us baldites;
behaving like vengeful homicidal former full heads
as opposed to innocent, empathetic Androgenetic Alopecia victims. o_O
