I have an odd question and im wondering if someone has a a clue as im perplexed. A few months ago my kids noticed my bald spot growing in and then a few other family members noticed. I dont take any hair restorative products or anything. I dismissed this for a while but sure enough after feeling the back of my head for the past few months and looking at it, i actually have solid hair regrowing there its probally about an inch grown in. The only big difference i can think of, is, i have been working home for the past year and havent put any hairspray in my hair as i havent had to go to work. Before this, i was a habitual hair spray user, just enough to keep my hair in place in the am before going to work but using it every single morning.
I have had this bald spot for since my late 20s, and now, i have a fully fresh growth of hair, it is f'ing crazy and i dont understand what happened. I dont know anything about hair loss but i always thought the crown area, once that goes its gone.
About me, this is a bit embarressing, I havent taken any hair restorative products, i have regular male pattern baldness since my 20s, my dad is completely bald. i am pretty lazy, comfy office job, 47yrs old. I never dabbled in hair restorative products or anything like that. I keep my hair about 2 inches i would say, enough that i have to brushit a little before heading out. Before covid, I habitually used hair spray before heading out to the office. Usually the cheap aquanet kind (very embarressing). I have have receding hair line for years as well, that hasnt changed, its still receded I stopped using hair spray almost completely the past year.
I have no idea what is causing this regrowth. Ironically i am going through a stressful time (divorce) so its not for lack of stress lol. Thanks for any info or ideas guys. The best i can come up with is the lack of hair spray use the past year causing some positive crap with my hair. The only other change is instead of taking daily showers, i take baths now, and dip my head in the back of the tub due to this house not having a shower. I use cheap shampoo, VO9 i think is the brand. My home office is different, i work exclusively in natural lighting all day coming in from a huge window in this house which my back faces, vs in a cubicle farm in my office under flourescent lighting.
Strange stuff!!!
