Odd Thinning Near Front Of Ear. Seeking Opinions

So I recently got a haircut and just noticed infront of the ears on both sides of my head are seemingly thin. I am 17 years old, and have noticed the affected area to be quite itchy. Also if decide to lightly pull the hair on the affected areas 1-2 hairs come quite easily. Any opinion is highly appreciated.

Is the scalp red and flaky? Then it could be seborrheic dermatitis. Check with a dermatologist so they can proscribe you some cortisone/steroid solution. Otherwise my best shot is telogen effluvium.

I do have darker skin, but it is definitely flaky. It's a similar condition to my hairline as well. I've been passing it off as dandruff

Well it basically is excessive dandruff. Try some ketoconazole shampoo as well
