Off minoxidil for 2 months but still shedding...

I used minoxidil 5% twice a day from 4/05 - 11/05. I would forget some applications but not a ton. I had a bad shed for the first couple months but then it kinda stopped. I started getting lazy from 11/05 - 1/05. Then my shedding started again. I decided I better get serious so I applied it religiously for the next month or so, but the shedding continued. I started to think that I was a non-responder and that the minoxidil was causing my diffuse thinning. So I stopped using it all together. My shedding has continued ever since.

Anyone else have an experience like this? I don't know what to do... use meds or not?

Yep seems that any hairs that may have been benefitted by the minoxidil are now in shock and are falling out.

It should level out eventually and you'll end up back where u started.

Hi shh5455, I'm experiencing the same at the moment, however, I have used minoxidil 2% for only a month and now, one week after having stopped it because of a real big shedding, the shedding continues undiminished.

How are you now? When did your shedding finally stop (I hope it did at all ...)
