Off of finasteride while waiting for order?

Hey, I was off finasteride for about 3 weeks while waiting for an order to come in (the other site i ordered from is gone - 111drugstore) - does anyone know what to expect while off it? My hair seemed to get pretty bad in such a short period of being off finasteride, noticeably less hair/more hair was coming out in the shower versus very little, is this common? Will my hair go back to its previous state in a few months or are the experiences while off it for a short time not considered drastic?

those people were off it for a year. he was off it for only 3 WEEKS.
