havent posted in a while.........

i suspect my story is a success

been on the regular big three for 1.3 years
followed by two hair transplants in the temple region ......i'm turing 26 in april

i have a girlfriend now ....."model"

she cant notice any hairloss
i finallly came clean with her telling her that i am using treatments to prevent hairloss and she thought i was silly

she said "well if it goes, why dont you just shave it off"

this shows that not ALL women care about hair...i used to think they ALL did, especially models

i very fortunate to have found this site to help me with my struggles
i want everyone to know that their is hope for sufferers of hairloss
maybe not with the actual recovery of hair.......but the confidence knowing that not ALL women are observant to hairloss

i'll post pics soon
granted that i have been transplanted to a nw1 with the newly transplanted hair in december just starting to "bud" and grow some small hairs, eventually to grow long like the others

thank you everyone

(i have not yet posted in success stories)

today i feel may be the day

been on the big three for approx 8 months

an old girl friend i haven't seen for for 7-8 months

asked me if i dyed my hair.......
Hah I guess my hair is getting darker/thicker
the way it used to be
with these treatments

i never had sever hair loss to begin with,
but i was experiencing an slightly thinning crown
and deep temporal recession in the NW2.5 range

i hope to continue with improvements
and i would like to thank this site for all its help :)

Congratulations on your success dude...

Questions:

Are you applying the minoxidil 3x a day?

And did I read your regimen button right? You're applying kirk liquid twice a week as well as foam during day(maybe early afternoon)?

Congrats!

finasteride darkened my hair up a bit as well. It probably goes hand in hand with thickening.

Re: ok my first success

Your regimen also says you use spironolactone at night on the hairline and temples. Are you using 2% or 5%. I tried Dr. Lee's 5% for a couple of months, but couldn't stand working the cream into my hair. Just started with the 2% liquid and much prefer it's ease of application.

i use the 5% cream from DR. Lee, ive been using it now for about 6 months
i dont think it is very effective but, i have peace of mind knowing im doing everything i can to prevent being bald

you are correct the cream is very hard to apply "in the hair"
so i just apply it to the "skin" on the hairline, temples, and temple points

Why would you say that 5% spironolactone cream is not very effective?
spironolactone won't regrow your hair, it's antiandrogen.

minoxidil tends to make hair darker as well.
