Ok to use Rogaine Foam on and off?

Just a question in general,basically wanted to know if theres any drawbacks from say using Rogaine Foam for lets say a year then,if for some reason you decided to have a break from it (and lose all hair that its grew).Would you be able to simply start again at your will?Or is it mainly a case of one chance,if that makes sence!?!

Each time you take a break and loose hair, you end up starting from a lower baseline the next time, so in essence you will never achieve the same level of hair presence you had previously.
