On finasteride. Should I add nizoral?

I've been on finasteride for a month so far. I'm not doing rogaine however I was curious whether I should add the shampoo as well. I've heard it causes more hair loss in some people? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

No. It's only used for dandruff and scalp irritations from liquid minoxidil. It doesn't help with baldness at all. Just an anti fungal medication.

kg, it has been proven to have androgenic blocking properties as well as being anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory so it actually could help slightly with hair loss.

I used to think the same but, a year ago my dad who is a Norwood 6 started using Nizoral 2% 2x week because of dermatitis & after a year he has grown vellus hair on his head in Norwood 4 pattern, I know they are very fine hair which won't grow into a full thick terminal hair but it has grown some hair on a scalp were no hair has grown since last 15 years.
So i think adding nizoral to the regime is worth it.
