Once A Day Minoxidil 6 Months Progress

September-December 2019 (5% minoxidil, consistent microneedling)
*0 results*

January-February 2020 (5% minoxidil + ru58841, inconsistent microneedling)
*better results, only noticeable on a microscopic level*

February-present 2020 (dualgen plus - 15% minoxidil & 1% topical finasteride, no microneedling)
*immediate noticeable results, not sure if peaked yet*


Conclusions: topical finasteride works. I get no sides from topical finasteride. Higher concentration of minoxidil produces better results. Twice a day is not necessary if you use 15% minoxidil. Its not a miracle. Will revert your hair back to the stage it was at 5 years ago, but not 10 years ago.

Microneedling may or may not help, results inconclusive

This is my 3 months progress since starting topical finasteride and ketoconazole shampoo (before that had no results with minoxidil alone).
I've only derma-needled about twice since then.

also, I've given up on dermaneedling. I do it with the 0.25mm like once a month i dont even know why i bother

Thanks. No sides for me. This is the first and only thing I've tried thats worked for me (and i tried a LOT of things) so I'm gonna stick with it. Might switch over to maxogen-x though because i hear it's less sticky than the dualgen plus

I try to stick with it at least once a day but i almost always skip a day or two each week because it's such a chore to apply and it's so sticky
