One year

There you have it, my one year results... The only shed I have encountered is when i didn't wash my hair for two days last week. And when I did wash it I saw a birthload of hair on my hands. Then the next day, I washed it again and everything was back to normal...weird. Im not sure if I can actually consider it a shed.

tbh the vertex area didnt changed that much, maybe thickened a bit but are you only experiencing hairloss in that area or frontal area too ?

at one year you still have a thick head of hair. The vertex seemed to lose some coverage area, but that could be a shed. Overall stick with it, it's good.

I'd say the front got a little diffuse, but has got better or stablized over the course of the year... it doesn't worry me as much as the crown does.

do you think there is still room for improvment ever after passing the one year mark?

A lot of guys report that the 2 year mark is the charm :) Keep going.

Sweet! a full year to look forward too... Do you think my results will spiral down afterwards?

That's cool.. I've just read quite a few posts where the results are consistent for a year then for whatever reason male pattern baldness sets in again.

Hey VWdude!! nice results...

I´ve got same thinning as you, maybe a bit more (I´ve been thinning for like 5 years prior to starting finasteride), and I´ve had simillar results in the crown after a year... but the best thing is that I had come cool general thickening (my hair was flattening all over) and I´m able to grow it long without looking disastrous. It´s funny since my top/frontal part reacted sooner and better to treatment, just like the inverse they reacted to male pattern baldness

BUT the crown is still my weak point. I wish the big 3 could bring me something more the 2nd year. I´m looking forward to it as well... Work on it finasteride sh*t!!!

Recently I´ve added zinc/b6 and evening primrose oil internal supplements. Don´t know if they´ll work, but I enjoy experimenting on me and they are very cheap...

Maybe I´ll make some ZIX as well, but before that, I´m gonna wait six months or so. Don´t wanna add too many things too soon.

Stay lucky, mate!!

Is it because of the moustache??

Well, I suppose I find it interesting... maybe I´m too lazy to perform the full "avatar changing" operation this evening.

I was wondering if i should throw in minoxidil into the mix.... but i don't like the whole twice a day application process....ahhh.

minoxidil haven´t done much for me. Been using it before finasteride, without much difference.

I keep using it just because it´s supposed to be good.

Do you notice lots of tiny vellous hairs in the crown???

I do, if only those fuckers would get thick...

I have to really get close to the mirror to see any thinning on my crown (which is good...i guess), I haven't really been looking for vellous hairs but now that you mentioned I might just take a look. My thining isn't really that noticable, I can hide it pretty well with the way i style it.
