Opinion, Is this a cowlick or am i balding?

Hey guys, i am 29 years old. I am not sure if i am beginning to bald at the crown or this is a cowlick. My hair line isn’t perfect but has not changed since i was 19. I have attached photos below. Out of paranoia i have been taking Biotin, using biotin shampoo and conditioner as well as signed up for Keeps and started taking the 1MG finasteride. I also made a appointment with a dermatologist to ask her opinion. My dad starting balding in his 30s but my mom still has perfect hair. It sucks cause I constantly take photos and starting to feel self conscious. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read. All honesty is appreciated

Hard to really say. My brother had a spot like that in his 30's and eventually it became a big bald spot. Your hairline in photo 4 looks to be beyond a NW2 but in the last photo it doesn't.

good that you've started finasteride. you have some good hair right now, and now you have nothing to worry about

If your father went bald then you are more likely to end up bald too. Picture 4 looks recessed but 5 and 6 look fine. You did start treatment so you should be ok. I'm not sure how successful finasteride is for people who are supposed to start balding in 30s but I would assume it should be since it isn't as aggressive.

Add minoxidil, Ketaconazole and derma roller with your Finasteride.
