I have been experimenting with 5mg oral minoxidil in the morning and 2ml minoxidil liquid at night. It's only been a few days. But let's see what happens.

Minoxidil makes my hair look really greasy and horrible. I want to avoid the morning ritual.

Very interested as well in hearing your results , I've been thinking about replacing 1 of the 2x a day topical applications with a low dose oral minoxidil (I'm thinking of starting at 2,5mg as some studies show results already at this dosage, have you already tried a lower dosage or did you choose to start directly at 5mg?).

Keep us updated, thanks

I did this for close to a year, varied between 10 and 20mg and foam+dermarolling at night, my hair still looks a mess when wet but when dry it's alright looking, i just dropped topical though becuase they stopped selling the foam i like and i hate other foam brands and liquid minoxidil.

When my hair is wet I'm pretty much a full NW5 lol. It looks like I have only 5 wispy hairs left. When blow dried and brushed to the side it looks decent lmao. I hate so much when my hair is wet.

Been doing ~ 3ml topical + 5mg in the morning and 5mg in the evening for at least 6 months now.

And it's not magic.

So adding oral didn't improve results? Were you doing only topical before, so you can compare topical only vs topical + oral?

Thanks for your feedback

30 days of oral min 2.5 mg and 1.5 mL topical per day. Others have noticed the improvement, as have I.

Yes, I've been on topical for about 18 months. Only topical. It has some additional benefits to the thickness but it's not something that will regrowth 2 Norwoods. At least it did not for me. I still have a lot of bald spots on my crown. I just switched from dermaroller to dermapen and I have a feeling it could help a little.

Honestly i think oral minoxidil is a bit overrated, i still have a sh*t ton of thinning on my crown and i have been using oral minoxidil for over a year.

I switched from a pen to a roller because the pen was tugging out lots of hair when using, just something to look out for. The pen definitely wounds more effectively than a roller though.

Currently on 10mg, only sides are water retention, arms and legs, back of my hands a tiny it hairier but nothing too much. Only issue from excess hair growth has been my nose hairs getting a bit worse, eyebrows have thickened up too and i currently have little hairs on my temples that meet my eyebrows which i just shave off now and again.
