10mg is a very high dose to start with. Most of the recent published studies on OM for hair growth were done with low doses up to 5mg. Pay close attention to side effects (edema, heart palpitations, headaches, increased shedding, hypertrichosis) as they can really intensify with higher doses >5mg and are what you may notice in first couple of weeks/months. Subtle improvement to scalp hair usually doesn’t start to occur until the third month with more noticeable improvements after the 6month.
you can always lower the dose to maintain... i started with 5 for three month, now i am on 10... if there is a result, or better the desired result, i go back to 5 mist likely...Considering you have to take it for the rest of your life 5mg is preferable, i still take 10mg tbh, but i might reduce it to 5mg in the future. Better safe than sorry. The studies show 5mg was well tolerated and far superior to 2.5mg.

why should i use that? what benefits do i get from that? i mean i try anything that doesnt give me tits^^ just dont know what it actually does...Have you tried taking oral castor oil? cheap as anything, it is not going to work miracles but i find it has a good synergy with oral min. I would say take 5 or 10ml. So cheap to buy and worth a shot imo.

yeah of course i know it doesnt give me tits*^ just wanted to day that i am not opposed to taking whatever drug i can get to combat hairloss...The guy from moreplatesmoredates wrote about it https://moreplatesmoredates.com/oral-castor-oil-for-hair-loss-review/ it doesn't give you tits or anything lol the ricinoleic acid in it is beneficial for hair, likei said worth a shot and cheap as anything to buy.
what study shows its far superior than 2.5??Considering you have to take it for the rest of your life 5mg is preferable, i still take 10mg tbh, but i might reduce it to 5mg in the future. Better safe than sorry. The studies show 5mg was well tolerated and far superior to 2.5mg.
Do you know/remember how long the shedding phase lasts?wont work quicker... give it a few month, that should work... dont be surprised if you shed, can be a lot...
Had any results yet?you can always lower the dose to maintain... i started with 5 for three month, now i am on 10... if there is a result, or better the desired result, i go back to 5 mist likely...
cant really remember, i think i had some shedding for about 2 month... like 2nd and 3rd month... not too much, but enough to get a little bit worried...Do you know/remember how long the shedding phase lasts?
yeah, hair growing where there hasnt been any for years... too early to tell, though... it is growing (hairline), but i dont know if they will grow longer, crown also a little fuller, but still not enough...Had any results yet?
I've been on topical minoxidil for a monthyeah, hair growing where there hasnt been any for years... too early to tell, though... it is growing (hairline), but i dont know if they will grow longer, crown also a little fuller, but still not enough...
but im only on oral min for about six month, little bit less, i think... as long as it doesnt get worth, i think i can live with it so far...
topical didnt do much for me... in the beginning i used kirkland and that was quite good, some regrowth on the hairline, but gave me rashes and whatnot after about a month... switched brands and somehow i didnt get any regrowth after that...I've been on topical minoxidil for a month
Can you link the study for it being far superior? I’m interested in switching from 2.5 to 5mg.Considering you have to take it for the rest of your life 5mg is preferable, i still take 10mg tbh, but i might reduce it to 5mg in the future.
