Organic Shampoo

Just wondering if it's ok to wash your hair 5 times a week if your using organic shampoo? Thanks.

I wash my hair once every four-five days with baby shampoo, because I'm a bigger rebel than anyone else in this thread...currently. Otherwise, I soak my hair in warm to hot water twice per day.


I used to shampoo it twice per day, but it just became dry and lifeless. So, I'd just end up putting some product in it with some sort of irritating oil or other irritating compound. I don't have to do that anymore.

uh hello i dunno it seems like ive been the only one told as a little kid your supposed to wash your hair every OTHER day... if your washing your hair daily i hope you are using a gentle "daily shampoo"... i wouldnt wash it every day due to the chemicals and also it dries your scalp and removes essential oils.

LOL.. well seeing as how the guy up there washed his hair TWICE a day said it became dry and lifeless, it's no wonder.

Being that I don't believe in santa, jesus or the easter bunny there is a logical reason as to why you should not wash your hair daily. Do a simple search online or ask any woman (or man) who's really into their hair. Unless you have very oily hair you should NOT be washing your hair often(daily) or that will damage it. If you do in fact have oily hair make SURE you are using a gentle DAILY shampoo/conditioner. The idea that you need to wash your hair daily has run rampant on this forum for some reason, it's not the first time I see a post about this.
