Overthis's Story - ( 21 / What path to take?)

Im 21 years old, receding hair line for over 12 months now, the front dont grow any length at all, recently noticed im thinning at the crown i figure i should do something about it.

what is the best path to take?
cant i just buy a laser comb and some nizoral or tricomin shampoo and start growing thicker hair?

im not too keen on anything that will lower my sex drive or ability as i do well with the ladies, but if i dont treat my hair they will start running the other way lol

anyone help me out??

Well first of all I want to welcome you to HairLossTalk.com!!

After reading your story and understanding that Finasteride would not be an option I think the best option would be the following.

1. Minoxidil (5% liquid or foam) twice daily.

2. Nizoral Shampoo (1% or 2%) used 3 or 4 times per week.

3. Topical spironolactone Cream.

Give this 6 months and re-evaluate.

As far as the laser comb, I do not personally believe they work but then again I have never tried it and my opinion is based solely on what I have read from others. There has been alot of feedback here and most users say it does nothing.

Anyway that is my opinion on treatments and I'm sure you will get alot of others.
