OW, my nipples! Now what?

Okay, so I've been using my Dr. Reddy's Finast from Unitedpharmacies for about 5 months. For whatever reason, I decided I would get Cipla brand Fincar (also from United) for my next 5 month supply. I don't know if there's a correlation, but a day or two after switching brands, my left nipple has been feeling weird, with the occasional tenderness behind it.

So either United sold me bogus Finast and therefore I reacted immediately to 'real' finasteride, or it was just a coincidence that I started getting this side effect at the same time. Either way, I don't want to grow breasts (they wouldn't look good with my manly chest hair :p ). So I've briefly halted the finasteride so I can see what happens.

If it is the case that the finasteride is going to give me some trouble, aka, manboobs, then I'd like to switch to a topical anti-DHT if possible because if there are any hairs grown because of the finasteride, I'd rather not lose them. And most importantly, I want maintainance of the existing hair (currently Norwood 2-ish, no crown thinning). I'm quite optimistic about the regrowth I'm seeing - I'd really like to see how it turns out in another 5 months, but I don't want to have to give up something so crucial to my regimine.

So what are my options for a topical anti-DHT? Are they even effective? I'm not that familiar with them brand-wise, so I don't know where to look. Or is this side effect something I should just try to ride out and see what happens? Never had a problem with erections or libido, and I consider myself lucky in that regard.

I started getting manboobs because of finasteride. After about 4-5 months my nipples started burning. It was very destracting and depressing. After a couple weeks of quitting the burning stopped and my chest went back to normal. I don't know of any about topical anti-DHT that is available. However, Merck (maker of propecia) has applied for a topical finasteride patent. See below:

What about topicals like revivogen, or spironolactone? I'm not familiar with them, ingredient-wise. Are they anti-DHT, or are they just a bunch of "helpful" stuff to compliment the big 3?

Oh, and the nipple sensations have stopped after being finasteride-free for a week. I also feel a little better mentally as well. Like I have more motivation, or something like that.
