oz brew is based on using DMSO as a transport method primarily for minoxidil (and largigine and MSM,)

DMSO is derived from trees and is a solvent (although can be industrially produced as i understand, but u should be using the organic stuff),

DMSO also gets rid of fibrosis, (think thats the word) which is kinda lumps of dead skin, sebum stuff you dont really want there.

in plain english if u add dmso to something it helps it to be absorbed better. thast why people use variations of the brew to add things which they think will aid hair groth such as zix.

ive started using it only about a month ago. so far ive noted an increase the rate of hair growth and some fuzzy growth.

the peel is the intial stage and is quite timportant gets rid of a lot of dead skin, helps subsequent absorption. does sting quite a bit, especially when using the neat 99% stuff intitailly.

if u cant find what u need here, u could always join the alt.hairloss forum which use to be on yahoo. (im not sure how u join though, i did it some time ago.)

for what its worth dmso+minoxidil works and should be included in a daily regime

the above is just my take and understanding.

Lots of people actually are reporting more successful results from the added dmso(for better absorption of minoxidil). But be warned all this is experimental. If you are interested here is the link to the recipehttp://www.arletis.com/ozbrew/ heres another link with more user feedback http://www.hairlosshelp.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=10&threadid=36240&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE= Hopefully that helps =)
