pain in the scalp?

when i was younger with a full mop i had a mushroom style hair cut, also i noticed back then that everytime i would wear a hat and fold my bangs in that it would hurt once i took the hat off several hours later when i let my hair down. was this a early warning sing for baldness? is all baldness derived from dht?

it does not sound like a warning for male pattern baldness, probably just the way your hair was rooted in to your scalp.

Eeesh! Wearing a hat DOES NOT promote male pattern baldness...so it must have been the way that you were wearing your hair under the hat

I know what you are talking about. Its the strange feeling of taking the cap off after its been mushed into place for a while.
