Painful prostate, knee and testicle from finasteride

Yo,

About a year after I started .25mg finasteride it seems like I'm getting some mild prostatitis. My left knee hurts, there's a dull ache in my prostate that seems to come and go, and sometimes a dull ache in my left testicle.

Anyone else experience this? Fortunately two Advils seem to make things go away for a while. It seems that after a while, either the absence of DHT or a shrunken prostate lead to some problems.

I had a slight pain in my testicles/prostate (i couldn't quite tell exactly where in the groin area it was) and it lasted for about one month. I went to my doctor, told him about the finasteride and had a full check up. He couldn't find anything wrong with me and suggested it might have been a mild hernia or something similar. He didn't believe that it could be the finasteride, but told me I could take a week off it if I wanted to be sure. Turned out I didn't need to, the pain more or less went away the very day I saw the doctor.

Had slight ache on my right testicle when I started finasteride but it went away (testicular pain seems quite common). Never heard of knees or prostates hurting because of finasteride.

I would suggest getting off this junk A.S.A.P and not touching it if your thinking of starting propecia/finasteride.

I think it's been 3 years since I've been taking it now, And the very first few days on I had some really bad pain in my testicle area. I searched a few of these sites and saw that others had the same symptoms on and off so I figured it's normal right? not exactly, I noticed after a while that if I didnt take the damn pill on schedule, I would start to get a sore achy dull pain in my right testicle, which would subside after taking a pill. These days the pain is a much more intense at times and I've decided to flush my last few packets down the toilet.

it's not normal, there's not enough solid information available from merck, I'd rather shave my head then screw with my body like this anymore.
