People say French lace is the most durable, and thin skin is the best attachment. But I found swiss to be very durable. Hard to tear. I don't know why people say it is so fragile. Though Frech is definitely impossible to rip, whereas if I really try I can rip the swiss. If someone pulls your piece, the center will lift first, and then there will be a lot of leverage to make the sides come next. If it is not thin skin perimeter, it can come off, unless you have an attachment going down the center too. A lot of guys put a strip of tape down the center. I'd rather have a strip of thin skin down the center and use glue. Either way, it is a very strong hold that would be very painful if not injursome to pull off.
