...makes me f*****g crazy! Do they think I'm stupid or something? I have eyes and normal vision and I can actually tell that you're looking over my eyes, you stupid idiot. Sorry, had to vent but this bugs me to no end, especially being on customer service.

May have nothing to do with you. Some people are just uncomfortable with any eye contact. So they instead focus above/below eyes.

May or may not but I don't think it's a coincidence :dunno: .

I get that plenty of times, don't know whether they're staring at my receded hairline or simply my massive forehead :woot: either way you can't get to worked up about these things, you just have to accept they will happen and roll with it.

It's normally always guys, cos girls just don't seem to notice it as much;

I find if you just carrying on talking naturally to them having jokes etc,,, unless they're a complete a**h**, they'll stop staring after a few seconds cos they'll realise themselves it's rude and insensitive.

I don't notice this happening but I did just get rejected after a recent job interview, obviously because of my balding....

Yeah obviously :jackit: They looked at you in the interview and said no because you were a NW1.1 and not a NW0 like all normal people right? :smack: :shakehead:

Yes Lloyd,I believe you,has happened too me on a couple of occassions. The worst thing is,there were for dead-end factory/warehouse jobs.Gods knows what the interviewer would have been like if it were for a professional occupation.

But the Lloyd guy barely has a mature hairline. :woot:
He's either trolling or there's something wrong with his head.

Oh,I thought he was severely receeding/completely bald.
See this is the thing with this forum. There are two types of posters, the ones who are just showing signs of hairloss, and those(such as myself) who are bald.No wonder there are so many conflicting views between posters. :ermm:

It happens to me but if it is accompanied by a smirk or a sneer then it becomes an offense. When I see a bald guy out in public, I've trained myself not to stare at them or look like I even notice them at all.... out of courtesy. I know I don't like people gawking at me when I go out uncovered.

i actually do stare at young bald men now, after fixing my hairloss, i usually think "wow he is fucked", it feels wierd to think that, since we are one and the same.

sometimes i see their horshoe and think "hoyl crap", i even look at my brother hairloss in his early 30s and think" thank f*** im not like that" ill be keeping my hair on in my 20s/30s/40s etc.

these thoughts are pretty bad but its what people with hair (and what society is judging you on) are thinking all the time.

now if we were in teh senor citizens home the dsicreation would be less, a "who cares" attitude would be enforced.

Wtf are you talking about HPM? Keeping your hair? You're wearing a damn wig, it's not your hair. Get real!

Someone on here posted a film about baldness and how the eyes of the person dart up to your hairline when they talk to you and I've noticed it ever since! Wish I'd never seen that film. Now I notice it all the time. I suppose its like talking to someone who has a massive mole on their face and you cant stop looking at it despite your best efforts.

Yeah hairloss seems to have made me focus on all types of imperfections as well as being an obsessive norwood spotter I find I get drawn to looking at moles, big noses, bad teeth ect. I've physically got to try to stop myself during conversations.

peopel always look up at the hairline if your balding.

i try to make an effort to not do that, and never look at a yuong mans hairline if its retreating.

its mentally hard to NOT do it.

but if your bald i dont see why people would look at your head

I guess thinning, sparse hair looks awkward.

I've had it a few times and I'm a NW2.5/3 but I've never had them talking to my head, I'v seen them glance a few times up at it but they'll continue looking at me when talking.
It doesn't bother me and it's nearly always been a man who has done it.

I was once like this myself. I remember when I was 18 there was this guy my age. Unintentionally I started looking at his receding hairline. He gave me back a very angry look. I didn´t understand this at that time. Now I do. I feel sorry for my behaviour. A few months later I commented to another guy, just 20 at this time: "You are losing your hair!" He angrily replied "Yes, for god´s sake." I didn´t understand it either. Now I do as well. Guess kharma got back on me.....
