I doubt that will happen. From what I read, it looks like these drugs will work on a different mechanism, rather than on hormones.Probably more similar to Rogaine. One of the drugs was originally being tested for Asthma so it probably had some sort of hair growth "side effect", it thats what I should call it. This could be a very good development although I am concerned about the supposed similarites to the actions of Rogaine because of cardiovascular side effects that Rogaine produces. Not to mention water retension which results in puffy face. I think Rogaine can help some people, but for others, including myself, its a 'dirty drug'. I need something better, with less threatening side effects.

from what i read one of the 2 drugs does something with blood vessels in the scalp and helps induce new hair growth. this is similar to how rogaine works. but think of it this way pfizer would not just come up with another rogaine cause they already have that. for them to invest in this new drug it has to work better than rogaine. so hopefully it works well and comes out soon. only time shall tell

Im glad they are. Men deserve better options for something like male pattern baldness even if it is considered cosmetic it bothers a lot of people an awful lot. I promise fizer there is a lot of money to be made in the alopecia sector if they can make some products that dont suck and most importantly regrow some large amounts of hair. If they come up with a product that can regrow 50 percent of your hair I promise you it would be nearly as huge as v****.
There problem is maintaining with possible sexual sides isnt the most amazing invention for hairloss to most men. Hell just find something or a new twist on DHT to just stop male pattern baldness. Just allow men to prevent male pattern baldness from happening I mean we know testosterone and DHT are major culprits lets stop them locally somehow.
