PFS and Penile Shrinkage

Hi guys,

Apologies firstly, as I know this has been touched upon over a number of threads, but just thought it may deserve one of it's own?

I took Propecia for 10 days approximately a year ago, and I had problems straight away, hence quitting instantly. I suffered continuous side effects upon life without Propecia, and documented some of them in the below thread:

viewtopic.php?f=46&t=62698

Admittedly, the side effects I have suffered since, and documented above, are not as severe as some peoples on here, but they are all side-effects that we all shouldn't have nevertheless.

To cut a long story short, I have no mental side effects, or physical ones, apart from in the trouser department. I get morning glory a vouple of times a week as opposed to most mornings, don't feel much difference in terms of libido, and my penis hangs to the left more than previously. I split from my long-term partner 2 months ago, and haven't had intercourse since, but with my ex-partner there was no erection problems at all during sex. I would say, in these respects, I was at 90-95% compared to 100% before Propecia. If i had any problems with intercourse in the future, I would assume it is anxiety due to my break-up as opposed to Propecia side-effects, as this has been fine for the year between taking Propecia and now.

The main issue has been penile shrinkage. I would say this is evident both when erect and not, but obviously the non-erect shrinkage isn't really noticeable to many people! When erect, I do not feel that the length of my penis has been affected too badly - if it has shrunk it is literally by a millimetre or so. However, the girth when erect has, to my knowledge, shrunk by between 0.25 and 0.5 of an inch. It is thinner at the top than the base, also.

This got me thinking, hence the post here. How many other guys here suffer from this problem? And, if so, has anybody undertaken ways to remedy it? What has worked and what hasn't? My own thoughts are that this problem could be reversible (some may call it wishful thinking!) but I am just interested in what people have tried to overcome this issue? And, basically, to just discuss the issue as a whole.

Best of luck to you all in your attempts to overcome this terrible condition.

10 days only

u probably recover by time

however shrink recovery is very difficult
before all u have to state if the shrink is due

1
by a prostate affection (imao easy recoverable)
2
by a fibrosis or in the worst case atherosclerosis

penile echo is advisable then u'll plan a theraphy

If you're having medical problems, you go to a doctor, you don't ask strangers on the internet.

Only 10 days of propecia causing side effects persisting for more than a year ... doesn't sound quite right to me. Your symptoms may be unrelated, and either way, you need a medical assessment to find out what's going on. Go to a doctor.
