Again, these milder, plant based estrogen mimetics reduce the stronger estrogens which in high levels create problems for weight management, visceral fat accumulation, prostate enlargement, immune function and for our purposes, hair growth.
According to this site and a few others I came across, phyto estrogens are responsible for competing with stronger estrogen receptors. It went on to state that used in conjunction with some sort of DHT inhibitor that phyto estrogens could help with hair loss. Any one tried using a phytoestrogen supplement while on finasteride or some other dht inhibitor?
