I already told you my story but this time I added some recent photos of my sexy head. I guess you can call it a 'success' story. Results were far from spectacular, but Propecia and minoxidil stopped my hair loss and there were no side effects. You have to agree that after 15 years of hair loss (today I'm 32 years old), it still looks good. So yeah, I'm happy!

Now if only I could find an effective solution to my dandruff problem...

I tried Nizoral once but it was a bit... 'violent'. I don't use it anymore. Finasteride is my number 1 hair loss treatment, I'm not so sure about minoxidil but I keep using it just the same.

Optimism and a positive mental attitude are also very important.

Thank you Follicle! I guess the 'secret' is to start taking Propecia as early as possible. It works much better on younger men (I started in my early 20's, when I was still in college). Persistence and discipline are important, too: if you stop using it, you will lose your gains.

Hi! I didn't take a break and I had no side effects from minoxidil - except for a slight irritation on my scalp.

Have you noticed any sides from the medications (lack of libido, etc)? Also, Nizoral 2% is awesome for dandruff. Get the manufacturer's version--not the generic.

Thanks Mountinvan. I honestly don't know if I experienced any loss of libido. I knew there could be some side effects when I started the treatment, but I didn't think about it much. I was never impotent, though, and today I have a normal sex life.
