i have been taking propecia everday for over a year and i think that it has slowed the hairloss on my crown but i am not sure. to be honest i think things are worse now then they have been in the past before the medication. i notice that my hairline is much thinner and receded and there are tiny white hairs where there used to be longer darker hairs. do you think i should stop the propecia or am i just doomed to lose my hair.

thanks, please respond :)

You're doomed. Try spironolactone and minoxidil.

You can try Xandrox, spironolactone, minoxidil either one. You need a growth stimulant. Your not doomed. Theres hope :) GL

I had the same experience. I've now regrown some good frontal coverage with minoxidil.

Give minoxidil a try for 4-6 months, it's helped lots of guys up front.

Unless you have bad side effects / financial reasons, don't drop it, for all you know it could have seriously slowed things down.
Add spironolactone or minoxidil to your regimine, and this should kick start growth.

As Sting say's add MINOXIDIL or spironolactone, no need to waste monet consulting doctors who know less about this issue than most bozo's here.

Thats how it happens for some, the hari decides to go and its on baby. I had slight thinning for several years than within a matter of 4 months my hair was almost gone. My hair was very thick and dense and the comb over made it hard for me to see. I wouldn't give up but also consider somtimes there is nothing you can do to stop it.

I sort of slowed mine down and am trying to regow. Major damage was done on the temples and vertex and diffuse thinning on the top left side. I could trace the pattern and the back hole was coming up to meet the front recession to form a big hole. At the same time the temples were meeting around the back of my frontal hairline leaving an island of hair above the center of my eyes. It was damn scary how fast it progressed. If I wasn't in denial I would have addressed my problem and used real stuff like Fina And minoxidil instead of Nioxin. I just looked at it like a nagging problem rather than an affliction.

My point is mine is aggresive like yours and it is becoming harder to stop let alone re-grow. I will get Fina soon or shave my head and become the headbutt king.
