I've been experiencing hair loss for 2 years now and I only started applying minoxidil 5% and nizoral (3-4 times a week) last september and only around dec/jan that I started seeing an improved generation of new hairs and less hair loss. The problem is that I started experiencing severe itching and dandruff or flakes and I increased the frequency of nizoral shampoo but with no luck. Hair loss increased and I had to stop minoxidil.
I hear panthenol shampoo cleans the head pores of alcohol residue and allows for more minoxidil access and reduces itching and flakes. Can anyone confirm this? If not what else can I do (I can't buy minoxidil foam anywhere).
