Hello
I'm 20 and my hair started falling out very suddenly two weeks ago. My doctor thinks it's probably stress, simply because he ruled out the other major causes, but I'm really not particularly stressed. It's still falling out rapidly, it's already so much thinner than it was, it's just endless and I don't know what to do. If it's stress (I do have some anxiety problems, but they're no worse than usual) will it just stop falling out when I become less stressed, or has it already triggered something which will continue for a length of time? How far is this likely to go? Is there anything I can do to help at all (diet-wise, a particular shampoo etc.)?
I would really appreciate any kind of advice at all.
Thank you
Sarah
