my vote is yes, but i also believe that finasteride played a larger role in my case since i began using rogaine foam (on a daily basis) because of a finasteride shed.

I was on Rogaine for a year before I switched to Rogaine Foam. No shed, although I do believe it will probably happen if you just start using Rogaine/Rogaine Foam. I voted NO.

my shed started 3 weeks in and stopped at about 2 months. it got so thin on top but has filled back in thicker than before. shed = progress.

I think I have. My new theory is also, that if don't apply the foam in some places, and later apply it there, like I have on the front hairline, you can go thru another shed. I think it might be some sort of shcck loss (my words).
