I suspect they are similar, and GTE is cheapest, so I put 60 mL of tap water in a cup, microwaved it 45 seconds, added (using their scoop) 300-500 mg, and after much mixing it dissolved.
That is about 0.84%. I think pure water would be hold more. I'm going to put this in the fridge and see if it stays dissolved. If not, I'll add some DMSO to see if that dissolves it.
Ethanol does expand blood vessels, so maybe that is not a bad thing.
Anyway, you guys trying to go past 5% will just get a bunch of powder clogging your pores.
