polysorbate 80

does any one here know any thing about polysorbate 80. i read that it cleanses the scalp of dht. i figured i would have hear a lot more about it on here if it worked. its so cheap thou i had to ask. i actually already have a gallong lying around.

i noticed wholesalehair products sells it and alot of the topical shampoos contain it.

I used it daily prior to shampooing for about 6 - 9 months. Towards the end I even mixed some saw palmetto in it.

didn't hurt - but no help.

It was marketed as a baldness miracle cure on commercials in the late 70s. I remember, as a young lad, seeing commercials hawking the stuff for $9.95.

My opinion = waste.
