Possible Allergic Reaction To minoxidil ? (...)

when i started i hadn't any problem but than i was overusing it in large doses and damp scalp , and i had side effects from sistemic absorption.

now i lower the dose to only 2x1ml in dry scalp , i havent any issues not water retention in legs or ankles but my face swelling a lot. is this an allergic reaction ?

i stopped for 3 days and than restart and after only 1ml i woke up with bigger face plenty of water and bags under eyes..

i was thinking to quit for 4 days and wait it get out from my sistem and restart with progress doses. 1 week 0,25 2 0,50 3week 1ml ecc to 2ml.

could work ?

any ideas ? i cant quit this sh*t because i will lose almost all my hairs

maybe it would be a good idea to talk to a knowledgeable medical doctor about it.

He said to stop it. But if i lost all gains and go bald is not his problem

I dont know if restart slowly ( 0,50 or 1ml day ) or go with 2ml..

I hope the swelling face is the effect of overusing it because if i am allergic even a very small dose will give me a fat full water face

I'd probably restart at 1 ml. Seems like a good compromise. Then after a few days you can use more or less depending on what happens.

if you are going to restart it do a small dose at a time and see how you react.
I cant think of the users name but he told about how when he first started minoxidil he was over dosing it...he gave himself really bad vertigo--he could not get off bed could not drive like very bad...so he stopped until it was out of his system a few days and then he used a little at time when he went back and he just said he never put it on a wet scalp again just in case...
I never used it on a wet scalp when i started because of his experience..i figure let me start with a dry scalp and see how I do. I never had any problems, i am a good responder but we forget it is a 'drug' so dont take it for granted with over-dosing or misusing.

Thanks guys, i will start small and increase slowly the dose if i wont have sides.

My worry is if i am allergic to it. I dont know if my face started swelling cause an allergic reaction or because i was using too much.

i restarted minoxidil with only 1 ml after quit it for 8 days.

few hours later broke out in rash on the front of my neck. my face started swelling too. not so much but it isnt normal. it seems an allergic reaction without any doubts.

i will try something like 0,25 for 1 week than up to 0,50 for another week ecc to reach full 2ml.
i hope it will work.

any advice ?
