I know you've probably all done it before, but I'm interested in seeing the variations that are being used (along with success rates). I used t-gel nizoral and johnsons' baby shampoo successfully for a year, but this summer I had irritation, flaking and of course - shedding! I think t-gel does not take kindly to the sun and this may have inflammed my head. Anyways, posts are appreciated.

The mainstay of any hair regimen should be minoxidil 5% + a dht inhibitor (eg. finasteride). As regards shampoos, i use Nizoral 2% every 3/4 days. :hairy:

4) make sure hair is wet. put shampoo in hair
5) wet hair a bit (increases lather)

nano shampoo: 5-6 times per week

Folligen shampoo: Not using it very much since I got nano cuz the volume that proctor stuff induces is incredible! If it does anything for regrowth and/or maintaining then I´m a customer for life =) Folligen is a nice shampoo though and will hopefully prevent the scalp from adjusting( to nano) if using it from time to time.

Nizoral: 2 times per week

Curious on the NANO. I use it and the conditioner and I think it bites as far as how it makes my hair look. Are you using the conditioner too or just the shampoo?

How long do you leave it on?

Thanks

:)
