Hello everyone -
I'm glad to see that there is a hair loss forum available for people going through what can be a stressful situation. My name is Ruben. I'm 25 years old and have been using 5% Minoxidil since the age of 19. I know that this drug works because I've had awesome results. The only problem is that my results aren't permanent. I use this stuff religiously - in the morning at about 9am and then in the evening at about 6pm.
I do get great results, the only problem is that the hair that has regrown with the use of Minoxidil falls out several months later. When it falls out, my hair gets VERY thin and I get temporarily depressed (I manage to always pick my self up ). About six months ago, I added Finpecia (generic propecia) to the mix - The SAME THING happened. I don't know what to do. I get really excited when the hair regrows but then I get shut down all over again when the hair thins out.
Anyone else going through this? Any tips, comments or suggestions on what you think I may be doing wrong, how to fix this, or another approach to keeping the regrown hair. I'd really appreciate any feedback anyone has to offer.
Thanks,
Ruben
