Hi all, I'm new here so sorry for jumping right in. I've been researching treatments and the many variations of finasteride, and want to invest in proscar. The thing is, I've yet to speek to a doctor about my condition. Some of websites that I've found here advertise that they dont need proof of prescription, is this really true, and is it legal? Has anyone been using these meds without prescription? Sorry if I'm coming off like a cop here, any help is much appreciated :)

Internet pharmacies inhabit a legal grey area - several countries including the UK allow importation of Rx drugs for personal use. These suppliers have a mixed reputation. Most are scam sites selling fake/dangerous meds. A few (Inhouse Pharmacy, United Pharmacies, Merlonipharma) are generally regarded as reputable... if you search the forum there's an entire thread evaluating the main players.

Well I'm in the U.S. new jersey to be exact, is there anything wrong with buying from these online pharmecies without having a prescription?

I believe that it's technically illegal in the US, so you might get your shipment seized by customs. However, the practice tends to be tolerated. Some guys get all their drugs from internet pharmacies, others wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. I've bought various things from Inhouse and Merlonipharma but prefer to get oral drugs on prescription when possible.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll do things by the book for a while until I have more experience.
